A Christmas Shaker Card!!!

Welcome back fellow crafters!!! This round's design team project for Regina at The Cutting Cafe was all about Christmas shaker cards!! How fun!?!?! I must admit this was my first time doing a shaker card and I LOVED it!!! The possibilities are endless!!! We were able to choose from Christmas Shape Shaker Cards or Christmas Word Shaker Cards. I choose to work with the the Christmas Shape Cards and I used the snow globe!!

I think it turned out pretty darn cute! I had a vision that I wanted it to look a little vintage and masculine! It turned out both and would seriously fit right in with our furniture pretty well!!

I used a very fun vintage looking Christmas music paper and the nutcracker is from Lettering Delights.

I glued down a couple snowflake sequins and put a few loose ones with a disco glitter inside.

I also used a Darice embossing folder for the wood grain and colored the accent pieces with a metallic gold marker and used some gold cording. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out and hope you enjoy it!! It's going right up on the mantle with the rest of the Christmas decorations!!

Don't forget to pop on over to The Cutting Cafe Blog and check out the other SUPER TALENTED design team member's projects!!! Leave a comment and you'll be entered to win 3 files of your choice!!!
