Introducing the Very Talented Scrappy Boy Stamps Design Team!!!

Hello everyone!! Scrapp Boy here with some great news.... I've FINALLY put together a Scrappy Boy Stamps Design Team!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! Allow me to introduce you to some of the most talented people I have ever met in my life!!

I live in Elk Grove, California which is a suburb of Sacramento with my husband and have two adult children.  I have lived in California all my life. I am retired from state service where I was an information technology project and contracts manager.
I have done some sort of crafting all my life, but got into paper crafts about ten years ago with some friends from church.  We make Asian-inspired cards to sell at the Sacramento Japanese Film Festival and donate the proceeds. We also make cards and donate them to the Cards for Soldiers Program.  Besides paper crafts, I also enjoy making jewelry and using vinyl to make t-shirts, towels, signs, and other decorative items.
I am so honored and excited to be part of the Scrappy Boy Stamps team! I love creating cards and other paper projects to inspire others.

Hi, my name is Adam and I have been a crafter specializing in cards for more than six years. I am always trying new and different products to stretch my creativity often resulting in new designs and products. When I am not crafting, I am playing with my two spoiled fur babies. I am inspired by travel and nature. I am looking forward to sharing my work with you. Please follow me at https://www.instagram.com/ark513 to see more of my work.

I live in Gilbert, Arizona, with my husband and our 3 amazing kiddos. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor's degree in Fine Art Painting while working as a retail manager to pay my way through art school. While going to school I fell in love with Bollywood movies, Bollywood dancing, and tribal Bellydance. I started taking classes and eventually became a member of a Bollywood dance competition team. I was so honored to have the opportunity to perform across the country with my dance troupe Boom Boom Bollywood. This love for other cultures and dance had a huge impact on me, and shows up many times in my art.
After having my kiddos I became a stay at home Mom. In between taking care of my kids, I started crafting, cardmaking, and scrapbooking as a creative outlet, and also to record all those precious memories. I have always been creative, and love expressing myself through vibrant color choices. I love to use Copic Markers, Distress Inks, and Watercolors in my artwork. I also love teaching others, and helping them become more confident in their own artistic expressions. I am so honored to be a part of such an amazing and talented team. Making art brings me so much joy, and truly inspires my creativity! Check out my blog here: https://mindybeverlyartstudio.blogspot.com

My name is Kelly and I am a Florida girl. My husband of 30 years and I have three adult children and one granddaughter. I started scrapbooking about 20 years ago and more recently fell in love with card making. I cherish everything about this hobby from its endless amount of supplies to the life-long friendships I have made along the way. I can't wait to share my creations with you, as we learn from one another on this fabulous adventure! Happy crafting!!! Check out my blog here: https://stampedbykelly.blog/

Hello my name is Vicky Johnston. I am passionate about everything crafting. I believe in making something every single day... which includes card making, scrapbooking, working in my planner and everything in between. I started crafting when I was a young Mom about 25 years ago because I didn’t want to miss one precious moment of my children. Crafting makes me so happy every single day!! It went on sale last weekend on one of our online shows and sold out in 3 hours, WOW!! I have ordered more and you can grab one HERE for preorder to guarantee you get one when they come in on Tuesday, March 2nd! The owner of Stamp & Scrapbook Expo has been SOO amazing by letting me sell them on her website until I have more stamp sets to be able to start my own. So here it is!!

While I was dreaming in my head of having my own stamp line my vision was always to have my favorite British Nanny as my very first set! This set is called Practically Perfect and I think it's...practically perfect!! I hope you love it as much as I do!!

I'm just SOO thrilled how it turned out! This is a 6x8 Stamp Set and the price is currently $20.99. There are 16 stamps total including the cute sentiments. Again, you can purchase this set RIGHT HERE and they will start shipping on Wednesday! I have to admit that I have not had a ton of time to make very many samples for this set just yet but I did just finish one! You likely have seen this card layout in my lineup before but it is my MOST FAVORITE design to do because you can have lots of fun with patterned paper! There's tons of layers and some dimension using foam adhesive squares and I love to use an embossing folder on the Kraft paper layer.

Now you can see why this is a favorite layout of mine, so much texture, layers & colors!

I hope you've enjoyed learning a bit about my new stamp line and my card! I'm SOOO appreciative of the amount of support and love that I have received, first from my husband and the owner of Stamp & Scrapbook Expo ganging up on me and pushing me to pull the trigger, the incredibly talented artist who made my vision come to life and to the overwhelming support I received from you the customers, the crafters, the stampers!! Paper Nest Dolls Farmer Owen

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters! I'm sorry I have been away so long, I have been swamped with work for Stamp & Scrapbook Expo! I'm back to share a card I made for Christine at Paper Nest Dolls!

This is the SUPER CUTE new Farmer Owen digi stamp! When I saw this image I just had to color it and turn it into a card! I hope you feel the same way too!!

Isn't he just the most adorable thing ever!?! He comes with the cow! I added the corn stalk from my stash of stamps and masked it to be in the back of the cow.

I just love lots of layers and my favorite thing to do to a card is sew it. So I pulled out my trusty Singer and did some stitches around the red gingham print and then some zig zag stiitches here and there throughout the card. They didn't come out perfect but I kind of like that about it, it's handmade!

I hope you enjoyed him as much as I did making him and jump on over to the Paper Nest Dolls website and see Farmer Owen as well as a couple other new releases!

Full of Pride with Kindred Stamps

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters!! I know it's been a little while since my last post. I've been working hard traveling from show to show with the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo!!

I've gotten the honor to be able to do a guest spot with Kindred Stamps and I'm soo excited to share with you my projects!! This set is just too perfect for me! It's called Full of Pride and as the name describes it's about pride...pride in who you are!

Check it out here!

I used Zig Water Colors to do this and just colored the top of the paper in the order of the Pride flag. Then just spritz the paper with some water, hold it up and let the colors do their thing! I then stamped one of the sentiments from Full of Pride that really went well with what I was doing on the front. I also found some Kindred sequence that I had in my stash and glued down the matching sequence for each of the water colors I used.

I've always been a fan of finishing the insides of my cards as well so I continued the sequence to the inside of the card as well after stamping the rest of my sentiments. The sentiment from front to inside reads, "Let your true colors shine & live your life out and proud! I just LOVE how this card turned out!!

Here's my next card using the new Full of Pride set.

For this card I thought it'd be cute to add myself and my husband on the front, I'm the blond, naturally, lol. I wanted the brick wall to look like the sentiments were graffitied on. This card is about LOVE, love for everyone!! I used a few different Kindred Stamp sets for this. The blond is from the It's About Time stamp set and the brunette is from the Scranton, PA Stamp set. I also used the Distress Brick Stencil that is out of stock right now, sorry about that.

Here's the inside.

I thought the inside sentiment really pulled it all together! Love is love is love is LOVE!!!

I really hope you enjoyed my creations using this set! I sure had a fun time using it!!

Check the set out here!

Also, Audra from Kindred Stamps is giving out a $10 gift certificate to one lucky winner!! To be entered to win you just have to leave a comment here on my blog by next Saturday! Make sure you check out all the other amazingly talented design teams posts and see the rest of the release!!
